Paul Pogba became the world’s most expensive player when returning to Manchester United in a deal worth around an initial £89m in the summer.
The 23-year-old has so far failed to truly light up Old Trafford, bar a standout display against Leicester City recently, while his form for France has also stuttered at times in the wake of his move.
Griezmann is confident that Pogba will come good at United, though, as soon as he is able to adapt to his new surroundings following the high-profile switch from Juventus.
“Paul needs affection,” he told L’Equipe . “He has a different game with [former club] Juve, Manchester and here [with France].”
Pogba has made 10 appearances for club and country so far this season, scoring just one goal in that time and failing to register a single assist.
