Manchester United were successful in nullifying a free-scoring Liverpool side and although Ibrahimovic missed a late header at the back post, the Swede was happy to leave Anfield with a share of the spoils.
The 35-year-old told Sky Sports News : “I think it was a good result think after the second half and the chances that they had. I think we can still work but we are getting there.
“My chance was difficult. I needed to chase the ball instead of attacking it but I should have at least hit the target. I was there – that’s the most important thing – and next time I will do better.
“The season is long. I see the conquering teams are losing points at the same time and any week, different things can happen.”
