Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko charged with alleged violent conduct by Football Association 


The France international appeared to elbow Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter in Saturday Premier League clash while trying to retrieve the ball for a throw-in in the 79th minute of the 0-0 draw at the Vitality Stadium.


Referee Craig Pawson spoke to both players following an angry confrontation, but ultimately took no on-field action against Sissoko.

The Football Associaton have determined that the incident was not seen by the match officials, and have now given the former Newcastle United man until 6pm on Tuesday to reply to the charge.

Arter has since forgiven Sissoko for the incident and claims that he hopes the Tottenham man does not
