Roma striker Edin Dzeko’s house burgled

Edin Dzeko netted a brace in Roma’s 3-1 win over Sassuolo in Serie A on Wednesday and according to Gazzetta dello Sport, robbers took advantage of his absence to enter his property.

The report claims that the former Manchester City’s wife and children were both inside when the break-in took place and 500 euros were taken, in addition to a couple of designer handbags, which belonged to the 30-year-old’s wife.

It is understood that local police, who were alerted shortly after the burglars gained entry, are still investigating the matter.

Dzeko joined Roma on a permanent deal from Man City in the summer after spending last season on loan at the Italian club.
