Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho skips post-match press conference following his side goalless draw with Burnley

Jose Mourinho was forced to spend the second half of the encounter in the stands after an alleged argument with referee Mark Clattenburg during the break over a denied penalty shout.

As a result, the Portuguese was free not to perform his usual duties of speaking to the media or attending the traditional post-match presser, with his assistant Rui Faria instead fielding questions from the gathered journalists.

United had 72% possession in the encounter, with 37 shots and 11 on target, as well as 19 corners.

The result leaves them eighth in the Premier League table, eight points shy of leaders Manchester City.
