British authorities have banned Serge Aurier from visiting the country due to an ongoing court case relating to assault allegations.
In September, the 23-year-old was handed a two-month suspended prison sentence for allegedly assaulting a police officer outside a nightclub in Paris four months prior.
The Ivory Coast international appealed the ruling and according to a statement from PSG, he was granted a visa to travel for the match at the Emirates, but on November 16 it was revoked by the British interior ministry.
The Ligue 1 giants explained to the authorities that Aurier was appealing the conviction, but the decision to refuse a visa to the footballer has been upheld, meaning that he will not play any part in tomorrow’s match in North London.
PSG have said that they “deplore” the decision and believe that it shows a “flagrant lack of respect for the club”.
