Barcelona striker Luis Suarez recognised in Montevideo for his time at Club Nacional and a ground is to be named in his honour at the Complex Esportiu Los Céspedes
Luis Suárez has been celebrated at the Club where he started out in the professional game, Club Nacional de Football in Montevideo, Uruguay.
The Uruguay forward accompanied by his wife and two children, was present at the #SuárezEnLosCéspedes event.
The Club paid homage to their greatest academy product by naming a pitch at the Los Céspedes training ground after him.
The Uruguayan star joined the academy in 2000, made his first-team debut aged 18 during the 2005/06 season in which he scored 12 goals in 34 games before leaving for Europe.
