Munster coach Anthony Foley’s death caused by heart condition


An autopsy revealed Anthony Foley suffered from an acute pulmonary edema, caused by a heart rhythm disorder.


Tributes have poured in from across the world of sport for the hugely popular Irishman, whose passing was announced on Sunday.

The 42-year-old, whose funeral mass will be held on Friday, had been in a Paris hotel ahead of Munster’s European Champions Cup match with Racing 92, which was subsequently postponed.
