LeBron James led the Cavaliers once more, as they eased past the Washington Wizards 105-94 to make it seven wins from eight.
Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs also had a win and the Philadelphia 76ers finally ended their wait.
Blake Griffin’s 25 points and a double-double from Chris Paul (17 points and 10 assists) led the Clippers.
Russell Westbrook had a huge game with 29 points, 14 rebounds and nine assists, but the Thunder suffered a second-straight loss.
They outscored the Clippers 34-28 in the fourth quarter but were unable to claim a win.
James recorded another double-double as his 27 points and 10 rebounds helped the Cavs.
He became the youngest player to reach 27,000 points.
Kyrie Irving had 29 points and Kevin Love 14 – with 16 rebounds – in the win over the Wizards.
John Wall had a team-high 28 points for the Wizards.
The Spurs claimed a 96-86 win over the Detroit Pistons on the back of 21 points from Pau Gasol.
Andre Drummond had 20 points and 17 rebounds, but the Pistons slipped to 0-5 on the road.
The 76ers ended a seven-game losing streak to start the season with a 109-105 overtime win against the Indiana Pacers.
Joel Embiid led the way with 25 points.
DeMar DeRozan had 34 points as the Toronto Raptors edged the Charlotte Hornets 113-111, the Utah Jazz beat the Orlando Magic 87-74, the Boston Celtics thrashed the New York Knicks 115-87 and the Portland Trail Blazers needed overtime to get past the Sacramento Kings 122-120.
The 6-3 Spurs take on the Rockets (5-3) at the Toyota Center in Houston on Saturday.
