Champions League action returns on Tuesday evening with two rounds of fixtures remaining in the group-stage phase.
Since crashing out at the Last 16 stage in the 2018-19 campaign, Real Madrid now have Zinedine Zidane back at the helm. You know, the manager that has won the Champions League EVERY season’s he’s been in it as a manager – three on the bounce!
But they’re not through to the knockout stages just yet.
Here are the current standings in Group A
Group A results so far
- Club Brugge 0-0 Galatasaray
- PSG 3-0 Real Madrid
- Real Madrid 2-2 Club Brugge
- Galatasaray 0-1 PSG
- Club Brugge 0-5 PSG
- Galatasaray 0-1 Real Madrid
- PSG 1-0 Club Brugge
- Real Madrid 6-0 Galatasaray
What Real Madrid need to qualify
Zidane’s side will guarantee qualification with a win at PSG, but can go through before their match if Club Brugge fail to beat Galatasaray in Tuesday’s early kick-off.
If the Belgian side win and Real fail to take maximum points, Club Brugge will have to beat the Spanish outfit on the final matchday to reach the last 16.
Paris Saint-Germain have already secured their place in the knock-out stages and will top the group if they avoid defeat.
