Frank Lampard has almost a fully-fit Chelsea squad to choose from against Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham today.

The Blues are on a torrid run of form having taken just three points from a possible 15 in the Premier League and have looked weary at times across a busy run of games.

Now, having had a week’s uninterrupted training, Lampard is hoping to see some of his side’s edge restored against his former manager.

Lampard can now welcome back the likes of Olivier Giroud and Fikayo Tomori after injury as every player battles for their place.

“Everyone wants to play,” said Lampard. “Now we have decent numbers, a competitive squad, and I have to choose what’s right.

“The edginess of a full week has been good.

“Players want to push to show they should be in the team. It makes it quite difficult. The rules are the same, it’s what you do, day in and day out, that gets you back into this team.

“How you are in training, around the group, everything. We take all that into account.”
