According to the Daily Mail, the Gunners are in the driving seat to complete a £30m deal for the 21-year-old as talks are progressing.

It is believed that Lemar has no problem with Arsenal’s lack of Champions League football and is keen to work under manager Arsene Wenger .

Lemar scored 14 goals in 51 appearances in all competitions.

The North London outfit’s only other signing so far this summer is Sead Kolasinac from Schalke 04.
