Man City’s De Bruyne to undergo further scans on hamstring injury to assess extent of the damage

Kevin De Bruyne limped off the pitch late in the second half of Manchester City’s 3-1 victory over Swansea City at the weekend.
Early reports have claimed that the Belgium international is likely to be on the sidelines for one month, missing City’s next five games.

There has been no official word from Manchester City, but according to Sky Sports News, De Bruyne will have more scans in the coming days.

The midfielder, who has scored two goals so far this season, will miss Wednesday’s Champions League group clash against Celtic at Parkhead.
