Nigerian-born forward Chuba Akpom found the back of the net to help PAOK beat Panionios 2-1 in their Greek Super League clash on Sunday, reports Completesports.com.
Akpom, making his sixth appearance this season, placed the Double-headed Eagle of the North in front in the 14th minute of the encounter.
Akpom, who has now scored two goals this season, was on parade from start to finish in the game.
The victory propelled the Greek champions to the top of the table with six points from two games.
In Spain, Ramon Azeez was also on target in Granada’s 3-0 away win against Espanyol.
Azeez scored Granada third goal of the game after he was teed up by Darwin Machis.
It was Granada’s first win of the campaign.
In another LaLiga game, Samuel Chukwueze played a key role Villarreal’s 2-2 home draw against Real Madrid.
Chukwueze has made three league appearances for Villarreal this season with one goal to his name.
William Troost-Ekong was in action for 90 minutes in Udinese 3-1 loss to Parma in a Serie A game.
