Novak Djokovic ease past Kevin Anderson to win fourth Wimbledon title

Novak Djokovic eased to a fourth Wimbledon title on Sunday, defeating Kevin Anderson in straight sets.

The Serb had not won a major in more than two years since winning the French Open to hold all four Grand Slams at once.

A dip in form and an elbow injury followed, with the Serb dropping out of the top-20 earlier in 2018.

Fit again and fully resurgent, a brilliant five-hour win over Rafael Nadal in the semi-finals confirmed his return to the top of the sport and he was ruthless against the worn down South African, winning 6-2 6-2 7-6 (7-3).
