WWE has released the first official trailer in promotion for their upcoming docuseries, WWE Ruthless Aggression.
While it is still unclear how many episodes of the show are planned, the premiere is set for Sunday, February 16th, streaming exclusively on the WWE Network immediately following NXT Takeover: Portland.
The Ruthless Aggression era was a loosely defined period of time beginning in early 2002 that saw the company rebrand itself due to a myriad of factors, including the collapse of WCW, a lawsuit from the World Wildlife Fund, and the rapid change of U.S. pop culture in a post-2001 landscape.
The era featured the rise of an entire new generation of young stars, notably John Cena, Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar and Dave Bautista at the top of the card. The Money in the Bank briefcase was also created during this period, which helped propel the singles career of Edge, among others.
